Jeff Choquette, 2007 ASA Late Model South Champion, is still running with the hot hand......since clinching the championship he won the Florida Governors Cup in November, two weeks ago went with his dirt late model to Hendry County Speedway and took the winners purse, back to Lakeland and won his first race in many tries there on Friday in the 100 lap Super Late Models. Sunday he won the 200 lap Super Late Model event running away from the field.
Sean Murphy, Jimmy Land and Travis Wilson will be guests this Wednesday on the O'Reilly ASA Fastlane, and Jeff Choquette and hid dad John will be on Inside Florida Racing on Monday night. http://www.realracinusa.com
Eddie Hoffman and Travis Cope took the ASA Late Model 25 late events Friday night. On the Sunday (rained out Saturday) Hoffman and Sean Murphy, who raced each other hard on Friday, took it to a new level with a show fans in Florida won't soon forget. Sean won the battle royal, coming from the back of the field beginning at lap 24 and finally getting the lead at lap 95.
