Brown Wins it all at Bowman Gray

Tim Brown of Cana VA became the winner of the Carolina Farm Credit 150 at Bowman Gray Stadium this past Saturday.
With the victory came his 7th track championship.
Brown slipped by leader Burt Myers and Jr. Miller with less than 10 laps remaining in the race after the two collided battling for the lead.

It was the after race fireworks that drowned out the victory cool down lap as Myers retaliated for the contact with Miller.
Myers hit Millers stalled car several time afterwards.
Police had to escort both drivers out of the track and off premises.
Race director John Horton says that penalties will be forthcoming next week involving the melee.

As of now officials have said Miller will pick up second place followed by Jonathan Brown, Robert Jeffreys and Brad Robbins.

The 150 lap race was also Browns' 7th victory of the year.
