    Greg

Why would you put a make up date for your Pro Trucks on a Desoto Pro truck races date not a good way to get good truck count. I know some of the drivers did call you to change the date so they could race both track but you said no. Also some of the driver are in the top five at more then one track and are running for points at each track. Greg this is not helping the racing famlies out at all.

Dont want to hear John put the date on your date either I am helping with the pro trucks at Desoto which you know this and I no when the dates are at Desoto for pro trucks.

Here is a possible answer to the problem?

Back in the day a long, long time ago.
Teams of the v8's Bombers and Figure 8 Teams would race at Citrus first, than drive to St. Pete, than jump on the I-275 express way to Desoto. Making all three Tracks in one night. And meet at the Waffle House at exit for Hwy 64 for a cup of Joe. I know this is different times BUT??? The problem with the Trucks is they are a LOVED Division at both Tracks. The answer (though not perfect) is one time they race first or second in the schedule and then run to the other Track for the one of the final races of the Night. Oh yeah you would need to speck a gear rule for the type of power train. The tire rules would remain the Tracks Rule. No it's not the perfect answer, but the Racers that are in both Championships would have a chance to make both Events. We tried in the past with a couple of Divisions. This is just a suggestion. Here are their points for both Tracks.

        12 15X JERRY MAXSON 90
        13 4 KELLI BURNS 10

Even though there are only four Drivers in both Championships. This would allow more to follow. Everyone needs car count. It's what the Race Fans come for (Car or Truck count) Full fields = Fan Count!
This isn't meant to be a monthly thing just when the rains screws up the scheduling. Just a thought?????

After the fiasco last weekend called a LLM race why would you have a truck race the same weekend as your nearest competitor track has one????

                Bobby

You and your great ideas. Drivers and car owners dont have the money now a day to run two track in one night like years ago Bobby.

The bottom line Bobby is Punta Gorda Speedway should have not put a truck race on this weekend. Which you dont dare say it they might get mad at you.

Greg use to get very upset about other track putting races on CCMP when he was there with us. Which he alway said it was wrong now as a race director he doing it.I would call that being a little two faced. To this day with new owners either Greg or Kevin will call me back on any question or e-mails I have to this day.

MY son Mike Had nothing to do with anything there at the track under CCMP with you and he has been told he is not welcome there to race or come as a fan. Do you call that fair Bobby????

Where was there a latemodel race??
All last weekend at PGS I thought that was a Heat race..
                  With only 5 cars..LOL..

With 13 trucks Regestered at PGS
I would bet they only have 5 trucks race this week...

as long as tracks make the rules for only their track, schedule over each other, this will never work. Times have changed and so to must the tracks.
Greed is the end of short track racing

                      Rain out races

How quickly you forget that Auburndale put a Late Model rain out make up over Punta Gorda's first Late Model race at the end of June, which was on their schedule before the rain out happened. Punta Gorda had to cancel the Late Model race because of it. Why don't you give Auburndale a hard time about that?
