World Series Lm's At Nss...

Although it's billed as the 42nd Annual World series, it's actually the 40th at New Smyrna... Ed Otto promoted the first one in 1968 and ran only Late Models... I believe he may have promoted a "World Series" at Daytona Municipal Stadium in both 1966 and 67, but the track at NSS was not operational until April 1967 and started off as a dirt track and was called Daytona Raceway...
Here's three shots from either 1976 or 77... some interesting Late Models...
1) Jim Cushman in a Mopar...
2) Mike Miller in a Mustang... before he brought out that crazy looking Oldsmobile...
3) Dave Watson in a Buick...

Watson's Buick had to be at least 78.GM did not have that body style in for 77
