Hell, I'm not a Tuna fan but I am glad he and his wife are coming and I hope they have a great time, since that would mean we all saw a great race. Bottom line, that is what we all want is some great racing, full stands and lots of cars.

And Winger, you didn't know anything about it? Your not a fan of the FAST website? Shame on you!!!
You're a Little Boney, you can't be a fan of Tuna, god forbid!!! I don't want you as a fan!!!

I plead guilty. My weekends are always booked and I've never seen mid-week shows in Florida. I just can't keep up with all the different series and tracks. I check the message boards a few times a day but that's about it.

If I don't see you, enjoy yourself Grandpa. LOL

I really don't think Jimmy meant to make anyone mad, he was only stating a fact that the NASCAR people really don't care much about local racing. Many years ago I wrote for a website called Racing Divas and I would always write a story about our local tracks when NASCAR was in town. Alot of people would reply to me that they didn't even know about the asphalt/dirt tracks close to Daytona. It did help pull some in and catch a show but like alot of sites, it went away and so did the stories to help our local tracks.

Jimmy just stated that NASCAR fans aren't great fans of local racing but hopefully today New Smyrna will get a few of those fans to watch a great race for a very good person. For many years I wrote the Clyde Hart Memorial and it always meant alot to me when they would bring that old green truck off the hill and take it around the track for a lap. Always felt like Clyde was watching and knew.

Mark, it was a good thing to post the entries-pre-entries and NEVER STOP doing that when you can. Your local fans really do appreciate it. And don't kill Jimmy because he does love racing and would never hurt it, he was just stating his feelings about it.

Hopefully New Smyrna will be packed tonight and have a great night. And tonight, I will think of Clyde and remember him for all the good things he did for New Smyrna and how much he loved his track. I hope you all have a wonderful evening and a very happy but safe 4th of July.

Most nascar fans don't care about local racing because most don't know anything about racing they are what I call yuppie fans. I have some friends that only watch nascar and I can't get them to a local race to save my life I think they are afraid they will realize how much nascar sucks. I can't be there tonight I have to get up at 4:30 to work tomorrow but I sure wish I could.

Mark, thanks for posting all the entries. Also thanks for keeping us up-to-date on what the schedule is for that night of racing. I for one do appreciate it.

Hope everyone has a great night of racing and Happy 4th!!!!
