That’s Bobby Fields.
A great competitor at the Gate.
Here he is in earlier days.

The One's I Was Talking About Was Iv Made Them
Now Bobby Fields Might Not Have Had Them On His Car . And It Was Not Because We Were Cheap . I Don't Remember If Iv Used M-and H. And There Were Couple More Tires He Would Recap
But I Also Had A Hudson 308 Cubic Inch With Two Two Barells On It Don't Know Who I Finally Sold It To Al Ordway - Ken Goodson -or Baxley-
I Don't Remember Who Showed Me But I Had Two New Tires That Had Bad Splits In Sides And You Really Could Sew Them Up And Use Them . Now You Are Lucky If Yiu Run Over A Sand Spur And Your Tire Dont Go Flat . And If They Last Over A Race And A Half
They Had A Place In Drew Park That Made Hpt Racing Tires You Could Run All Year
