). Not sure what happened to LeRoy; I think he may have been the car that stalled in turn one on one of them restarts. Saw some great passing on the outside there, too. Now *that*...was a quality field of cars, and I remember some good local cars loaded up after the heat races, too. I think at least half the field was out-of-state cars. Look at the variety of aerodynamic tricks, too. Langston's car (the red and white #73) was using a "stock-appearing" type body (which, back then, got you a bit of a weight break as the tracks tried to get away from the wedge cars), but still had a "trick" rear spoiler; Breakfield's car had like 5 "splitters" across the rear deck and no C-pillar on the roof; and Eddy's car had a "spoiler" that ran from the right front of the nosepiece all the way to the rear deck, all the way down the right side of the body (Westerman's got one of my pics of this car on his Web site, taken the following afternoon at DeSoto's 200-lapper).
