With such a large entry fee, just wondered what the pay-out down the finish order was? Just seemed like a awful expensive entry fee to me for a $750 to win race.....

If there is over the 19 cars is where the big purse is we have 19 last race and paid 900 to win I no of 4 more cars coming to this race so the purse will be 1000 or more to win.

Give the guys a phone # to call or something. Pretty hefty entry for a sportsman-streetstock race. How much of that gets paid back to start? Also...leaving out the leafspring cars just shot a chance to get citrus, ocala and probably some bronson cars.
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

This series seems to get plenty of cars for it's races without letting in the pony cars so I think the format is okay in that respect. I could be wrong but a 20-25 car field is usually a pretty good show with these type of cars. They actually make some big concessions to allow the local racers to compete and more times than not, lately, it's been locals doing the winning. And by locals I mean guys who haven't been running the full "outlaw" schedule.

As far as paying back into the field, if I remember right, at Desoto if you took the green you at least made your entry fee back. Is this still the case with the higher entry fee, Gary? If so, I think that's about as close to a break even proposition as a racer can hope for.

Good luck this year with the series.
