any new built track in deep souht Fla.

Don't matter if it's a new Asphalt or drit track ,so long as it's a 1/4 m. and away from town some,so it would have a shot at staying around

3 dirt tracks I plan on going to if I'm in NY are
              Lebanon Valley
              Rolling Wheels
              Utica-Rome

3 dirt tracks in Florida I plan on going to in 2008:
              East Bay
              Ocala
              Volusia

3 dirt tracks I'd like to someday attend are:
Lowe's in Charlotte Or The Dirt Track at Lowe's (whatever the name is)
              Knoxville
              Eldora

Now if I had the time, money, and energy; I'd attend every dirt track others have listed and many more that I haven't seen listed. Penn-Can, Can-Am, Fulton, Weedsport, etc. etc. Actually there aren't very many dirt tracks that I don't like. Syracuse is one that I don't care for but I'd go to anyway.

Asphalt has really turned me off lately so I guess I'll include some NASCAR venues.
              Bristol
              Dover
              Charlotte

2 years ago i saw nascar mods at bowman grey stadium. WOW! Great show.

my 3 tracks each would be any i haven't been to yet.

BTW A developer is trying to get Nashville fairground racetrack shut down because he has " delt" with the noise since he moved to the area 8 yrs ago. He want to put in parking, shops, housing and maybe a park. He says the fair is unsightly......what a putz. go to Nashvilles website to sign a petition if it's not too late. I've been there once and would like to again.

Dirt is pretty easy, although I have to pick 5 instead of 3:

                  Columbus, Miss.
                  Tazewell, Tn.
                  Knoxville, Io.
                  Eldora, Oh.
                  Tri-State Speedway, Haubstadt, In.

Honorable mentions to the late Pennsboro, WV. and Flemington NJ tracks.

Asphalt is a little tougher. There are a few "events" that I would love to see, but don't know if a weekly show would be a letdown:

Concord, NC, for the North-South Shootout
Anderson, In for the Little 500
                  Irwindale for the Toyota Showdown
Thunder Road, Vt. for any show, at any time
Stafford, Ct, I've always heard the racing there was outstanding.

Honorable mention to the late Plainville Stadium, Ct, and Danbury Racearena, Ct. Danbury was a "Club" track, that had 55 race driving members who were required to be there basically every week, or you were booted. It was quite common for the winner to get over $2000 to win a regular show, back in the70's. If you didn't get there a few hours early, you may not even get IN to the show. It was eventually bulldozed for the Danbury Mall.

Backrow... you mentioned Rome, Ga.... Only been there twice, but very impressed each time. If you do go, make sure you park in the tiered parking outside of turns 3-4. They pass you faster in the corners than most tracks go in the straights. And they do it 2-3 wide... in every class, every race!

The only trick is finding the place. You have to spot the pick-up truck with a sign in the back, pointing which way to turn off the main road.

Do what we did a few years back. Go up in October, Friday to Rome, and then hit Dixie (less than 1 hour) on Saturday for the Dixie Shootout.... drive home Sunday. Both shows had exactly 55 cars, but only about 25-30 hit both shows. We got to see nearly 80 different cars in 2 days. Bloomquist, Moyer, Pearson, O'Neal, Moran, Madden, Clint Smith, Shannon Babb.... HEAVY hitters.

You'll never be sorry you went to Rome!
