  • What a night at PGS!

wow... i cant believe how great the place looks. so clean and Danny Yates planted 75.. yes 75 huge gorgeous palm trees.
the stands were packed and racing very good. especially the Open Wheels. what an exciting race!!!! Doug Moff worked hard but eventually became the winner. LJ Grimms second and Phil Morrison third....
prices astonishing... $10 to get in , kids under 11 free! food prices have drastically been reduced... All in all it was a wonderful night seeing lots of old and new friends!
Thank you Kevin, Greg and all the people who made it happen! A+

Wow all in all they have really cleaned that joint up.. all lights working on the track a 5 man safety team, they added staff to the broom crew who were on the spot at any given time, and a crowd of spectaters that i probably havent seen since last years POWELL memorial at ocala.. it was PACKED! other than a few issues ONE yellow flag.. your involved BOTH CARS TO THE REAR no if and or butts.. unless you MAN UP tap on your roof and take blame other guy get his spot back.. otherwise your BOTH going to the rear and you can hash it out back there. But i did talk to Kevin Williams after the race and he's willing to address that issue, what more can you ask for! But after all the bitchin and moaning and a couple of tore up cars, the highlight of the night was seeing a man that was struggling for his life 3 months ago.. was attending the race.. looking good and smiling MR JACK SMITH WELCOME BACK, GOOD TO SEE YOU MAN! As far as our race started 10th were making our way to the front slowly double file restart with 5 to go.. started 4th and got freight trained.. but i had a ball racin again, finished 8th.
