The last I heard they tore down the 24 truck @ NSS last night but can't decide wether it is legal or not! How can this be???

ya the deck height was in question ,and they didnt have a balancer puller.so tomorrow night there going to pull the crank,check the cam.so we'll see if its legal or not tomorrow night.it was 430 in the morning and they had just got the pan off,so everybody was ready to go home.cause the guys trying to take the thing apart didnt have a clue what to do.their in trouble when they have to put it back together.

YEA, that is a long night for sure. Spent a number of times there until the early morning hours waiting for offical results so I could post them. It was really no fun and hard on everyone. But been there, done that but right now I am taking a break from all that and shrimping instead. Shrimp don't have to be teched except to make sure they don't have eggs on them plus tonight I caught two turtles in the river but don't have a salt water tank for them so let them go. But I sure would have loved to have kept them.

Glad you don't have a salt water tank. Take a look at the jail time for harvesting protected and endangred sea turtles. It's not good.

Well the tech guys have cleared the 24 trucks motor.the kid said they beat us though the corner and everybody in the trucks need to do there home work.Home work ,we need to go to college from what I saw the other night!the 20 jumped him on the start and he pulled in front of him at the start finish line.than he turned down and stuck him in the inside wall.so I guess his corner is in a different spot or something.All I know is we are in big trouble,cause theres no way we can run with that motor.So I geuss we all will be racing for 2nd.and congrads on being legal,u got me .on that one...

from what i heard on saturday night jeff would have a unbiased engine builder look at it as well...
as for the 24 being fast in the turns. i seen that as well he has that truck handling well but didnt take long for the tires to go away at the end.
the wreck on the front straight could have be avoided from what i seen. it can go either way 2 wrongs dont make a right when your racing hard thing like that will happen.
the real ? is...will the 20 team start tearing down anyone they get into a wreck with or mad at??? lol

I'm unbiased, don't really care who wins, just a spectator now. But I will say the 24 is handling good, Motor legal? I don't have a clue. But the biggest motor in the world won't win if it isn't handling. Everyone just has to keep working on it. How many times has the 24 been torn down? I was told 2-3 times? I don't know.
