Well... I received approx. ZERO e-mails, so guess nobody really felt like they needed to express an opinion...
BTW, in conversation with Rex yesterday, he is taking off the headset this week and will not be involved in making any calls...
Rick, I know you are upset concerning your nephew... I did not realize he was barred for cussing out the tech man... All I knew was that he was DQ'd for valve springs and apparently they were also found illegal at Citrus... I really like Aaron so hope all this can get worked out... he's a heckuva good racer too...

I didn't know he had been barred either. And have heard of no dqes at Citrus they don't show any on their results page. More then likely they are the same springs he has always run (but I don't know for sure). In fact I wasn't talking of that night at all in my posts. Rex has had a bad habit of making calls in the past. The time was was thinking of was this year in that Series race that was a few months back.

Sorry to say this won't be the 1st time Rex has "took off the headset". Just wait till someone in the clique has an issue. Ol' Rex will be there making the call and having the final decision not based on the rules or what is right or wrong but simply based on who you are.

Dave I have a question for you. Why is Rex EVER INVOLED IN ANY CALLS? It's not his job nor his place to be makeing calls . Or changing calls that have been made on the track or in tech!

No you let the officals that are there to make the calls do it! And then you back them up! You don't change the calls!
