One thing that Don Rehm talked about and is something I try to approach drivers about is the time they spend just hangin out in the pits. I really agree these drivers should spend some time in the stands with their fans and possible sponsors!
When fans, especially kids, get to spend even a minute with the drivers, its a huge thrill and makes them want to come back. You never know who you're sitting next to. That's how i first met Mr. & Mrs. Barfield and Johnny Action Jackson... In the stands! Billy Bigley and his family and many others have thrilled so many kids by being with them during off racing time. it isnt possible for most fans and kids to get to the pits to meet drivers. so its a plus if the drivers take even 15 minutes to mingle with the people who make what they do worthwhile.
was a fun show, great guests, informative... keep up the good work. Positive energy is what racing needs. we get sick of hearing about all the politics and negative nastiness. it gets old. this was refreshing!
