Thought some of you might enjoy seeing this
tribute to the old Orlando Raceway that appeared
in the November 13, 1975, issue of Florida Raceweek

fenton four did you ever race over at old orlando track

man i loved that track about as good as ft pierce speedway ' i believe i would have grew up as tall as you if one night at orlando this little short fellow that you barley see the top of his head

when he was sitting in seat in race car drove off down in corner and slamed me in wall my brother was also in same race and i told him if he could jack him into fence when race restarted i would take care of him .

well about four laps later i got my car back out on track and my brother dumped him right in front of me i jumped out to get him he did not look all that big or mean

so i just reached into the car to pull him out he was sitting about as low on floor as you could get .

most people want admit when you get in to a real good fight . yeah they all ways win right well let me tell you i could fight back then .

but who ever that big aSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS guy was he had to be six foot seven he put a royal aaaaaaaSSSSSSSs whooping on me for about 30 minutes

he asked me had i had enough i remember when he turned his head i hit him with a two X four side head that's when i went to sleep

i don't even know how i got back to tampa . never did find out who he was


i hope he lives in new york ---------------------and he is too old to fight any more
