  • Some More Good Oldies...

    1) This is Harry Pullen in the John Rogers #11... Harry was the last driver of the John Rogers Used Cars #11 before David started driving in 1973... Harry retired from driving and moved to Oklahoma...
    2) David Rogers early in his career (1974 I think) at Volusia...
    3) Our own dd38 taking a win at New Smyrna in 1987 driving for Glen Nations (yellow t-shirt)...
    4) Can you ID the folks in this 1985 New Smyrna banquet photo?
    5) Some cars at Orlando Speedworld in 1976... I don't have a clue who any of them are, so here you go!!

Gonna guess at the Orlando cars:

#8 - either Lee Faulk or Tommy Funk?

#80 - Phil or Walley Phinney

    #99 - Homer Williams

#32 - Leon Williams (car looks familiar from Eau Gallie/Melbourne)

How about the 19 being Bobby Newton, of the Magpie Bros. fame

Marty, I'm not sure Pete Starr was running as early as '76. I can't recall seeing him run until '85 or '86 or so at New Smyrna in the Thunder Car/Limited Late Models.
