CAR COUNT = PAYOUT
As you all know that race car count equals the payout that the Track can afford.
We will have the 50 lap race payout:
15 Trucks or less $750.00 to WIN!!!!!!
16 to 20 Trucks $1000.00 to WIN!!!!!
21 to 25 Trucks $1250.00 to WIN!!!!
26 plus $1500.00 to WIN!!!!
The FASTRUCK series has a pay out that it has used for two years. The more Trucks the more the payout is through out the field.
We will follow the same payout. So with that said we are (as we did the last race). We will pay $750.00 for 1st place no matter how many Trucks show. BUT, the rest of the payoff will follow the FASTRUCKs payoff. Again the purse is driven by car count. We are trying the restart the FASTRUCK Touring Series. If we can guarantee 25 truck we can secure a Major Sponsor. There are 4 or 5 tracks that we will announce very soon. So dust off your truck and lets try to all race for more payout. This weekend there is no Truck races at Citrus, Desoto,or Auburndale. So lets try to get to 25 trucks. Call all your friend and lets go RACING!!!!!

Punta Gorda got 1,100 lightning strikes in one hour on Sunday night, it was the most furious storm that has come through since Hurricane Charley. At least three or four twisters touched down leaving the track looking like it did in 2004. Dumping 4 inches of rain in the infield which now resembles Lake Erie. The lightning hit all of our electronics, disabling the PA System, Lights, Phone etc...... with her (MOTHER NATURE) wanting us the get ready for the FUTURE. We will be closed this weekend. We also will be announcing the GRAND OPENING date of "The Punta Gorda Speedway" (upon the Air Port's approval). So to all of you FANS and TEAMS please head up to Desoto, Auburndale, or Citrus. We will be working hard cleaning up the mess (maybe for the next couple of weeks) and getting ready for the newest Family Motorsports Short Track in the South.
