I guarantee you won't get 15 local cars for the support classes at $35 a person for pit passes....most of those guys will lose money just walking in the door......it looks like NSS must be leasing the track to the series......

And while I am at it......i was there opening night and went to get something to eat and ordered a cheesburger and fries without even looking at the prices until the girl said $7.50, (no drink) I almost fell down, when I looked at the menu board finally a cheesburger (not a very good one either) was $4.50. Then she brings me the food and the fries now come in about a 4oz cup instead of the big BOX they used to come in........I guess the theory is if less people are coming becuase the prices are to high, charge more so the ones that do come pay more.......I guess the Subway across the street will be getting my 5 dollars for now on if and when I do come to NSS.

and $35 for practice ? insane . and $20 grandstand admission ? theres barely 100 people at $10 dollars a seat . makes no sense . and $4.50 for a hamburger ? with the economy the way it is today people just cant afford these inflated prices . id much rather get 500 fans at $10 a seat than 100 at $20 . you have to find ways to entice the fans to come not run them off because they cant afford it . maybe a free hot-dog and a drink with paid admission ? buy one get one free ? jmo

Charging admission to watch practice, especially the same amount as racing is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of!!!!! And what ba laugh, trucks, non points as a support race. Lets guess 5 trucks??? The rest will be at Ponte Gorda

FYI... ALL details of this event including Pricing, Schedule, Support Divisions, etc are controlled by the Sunoco National Tour (ASA) as they are leasing the facility for the event.

'Then they are on the wrong track, no punn intended. Sooo, they get all the procedes? I dont know, just asking? Ticket sales, beer sales concessions? I STILL say say $35 pit pass to watch PRACTICE is ridiculous!! Same with grandstand (I think $20?) Youre out of your head!! If this is all about the Sunoco series renting (Leasing) the track, why is FASCAR promoting it on their web page? Sure looks like a FASCAR event!!

Well just to give you another thought on this deal. FASCAR and the Sunoco series are both in it to make money obviously. If FASCAR doesn't promote the races and nobody shows up as a support class or on the grandstand side then why would ASA come back there next year? It may also be apart of the lease agreement that they HAVE to promote it. I do want you to know that I agree with everyone though that a $35 pit entry fee is insane!! They need everyone involved to show up in order to make money and that steep of a price will not attract many local drivers. I read on Speed 51 only 11 cars practiced today for the Sunoco race tomorrow and that is pitiful. However I do not have any sympathy for Ron Varney after what he did to the teams last year with the point fund. Then asking everyone to buy new bodies for their cars on top of it. I know they already have allowed the old body styles to race this weekend I wonder how long ASA will last.

yes they are BOTH trying to make a profit but what they cant seem to understand is at those prices you arent going to make a profit when nobody shows up . a wound wont heal if ya keep pickin at it !
