Inside of 2 weeks, six(6) different Raceways visited, and another double in the books, make that the triple-quinella. Lots of miles, tons of stories that could follow, and meeting new folks, along with visiting with some old friends.
Week 1-Orlando Speedworld & Auburndale Speedway--
Week 2-Columbia Raceway & Lake City dirt-Northflorida--
Week 3-Ocala Speedway & Volusia County--
Fav's in order, probably something like this:
--Ocala
--Lake City Dirt
--Volusia Co.
--Auburndale
--Columbia Co.
--OSW
No slights at all to any raceway whatsoever, merely going by the quality of the shows, crowds, and the overall appeal of that particular afternoon, or evenings entertainment value for the buck$. Again, no slights intended.
Hope to hit another double, maybe an East Bay/Citrus, or an Desoto/Charlotte, or even a Charlotte/Hendry Co. In the big picture of life, this track chasing is relatively inexpensive, but maybe comming to a slowdown until fall, as work is picking up again. But until then, I am going to keep-on moving-on.
