I never lived there. My Dad was in the army, in europe when I was born and my moms family was all from SC. She went there tyo have me. I visited there on a lot of summers. My Granddaddy had a small truck farm in Glendale. I have some fond memories of South Carolina, but most were in the country on the farm. I was there last in 1965 I think. My Grand daddy passed away and I went there for that. I don't think I have any family left there. Bob....

Another Spartanburg boy here. Was born in Charleston but raised in Spartanburg. I lived in Boiling Springs before moving to Florida, and also spent time in Clemson, Clinton, and Joanna too. Never got into the low country much except for short visits. I think by now they've given my private cell at the Myrtle Beach jail to someone else. LOL!

Heck, Anymore I call a big purse the chance to break even on fuel, hotel, and food expenses. Between food, hotel, and fuel for truck and car and 2 pitpasses It cost me an average of 500 per winter series races. Thats not counting wear and tear and 4 goodyears
