Orlando has 2 grooves. Thats where we won 6 out of 10 feature starts last year passing on the outside (in the modified class).

    plussity plus.

that was one of the things that was depressing me about the FAST race. a fast car would spin out, go to the back and come back up through the field ... and then get stuck behind some chump who was parking it in the corners ... because the fast car would not go to the high line.

that's what actually caused that late spin between the 9 and 5. they were part of a four car group that was "stuck" behind a parker. then the one nudged the other into the top lane ... and the guy on the top side figured out he could make ground up there. as the outside car started to get to the parker, the guy on the bottom panicked because he realized he was boxed into the wrong groove and overdrove it going into turn 3, spinning both himself and the guy on the outside. the parker went on and they went to the back.

either one of them could have taken the high groove 20 laps earlier and gone on past the parker.

and removed the five win rule .

well it's nice to hear that some of the dumber stuff is being changed.

but technically speaking, this isn't a FASCAR rules thread.

        FAST race results

To those of you looking for information from the FAST events, just a reminder: qualifying results are posted immediately on the Sunoco FAST website (usually within 15 minutes of the close of qualifying), and race results are also posted immediately after the race (usually within 30 minutes.) The website address is www.floridaallstarstour.com.

            *shrugs*

i don't really care one way or the other, i'm just pointing out that unless somebody reads every single thread on the board they aren't going to pick up on that little tidbit that the FASCAR rule book has changed. again.

if it was in one of the existing FASCAR or rules threads more people would probably look at it.

thanks for putting it where i'd notice it though.
