Dorer got up on the outside of Anderson over the last two laps and they finished side by side.

What do you think? He was just going to run away with it and make it look obvious.

I was there and it looks like this series has the car count problem corrected, 31 cars is impressive, but now they need to get the competition taken care of. If this race would have had Tim Russell and David Rogers it would have been a great show. You would have had a full field and also a couple of drivers that could possibly beat Anderson. (I know Dorer was side by side with Wayne at the finish but I think that was a little WWE on Wayne's part) ie; making the race look a closer than it really was. I know I sound like I'm complaining but if they don't get some competiton for Wayne, interest wil start to drop quickly. It drives me crazy because I want asphalt late model racing to succeed in Florida, but it seems we can never have a great car count and great competition. I'm interested in next weeks Orange Blossom 100 super late model race at Orlando. There maybe only 15 cars, but the top 3 or 4 should be very competitive. So what is better, 30 cars with 1 clearly dominant car or 15 cars with the top 3 or 4 being very equal? I'm not sure.

Congrats to Wayne on another win, BUT how many cars, who raced, who won, etc. in the support divisions...

it doesn't really matter if it "looks" obvious or not. somebody other than an Anderson is going to have to start winning these races.

also, over the last 50 laps Wayne wasn't just getting up and running away. Dorer had actually been reeling him in, somewhat. was Wayne playing possum? could be. but it was a little bit more nuanced than just suddenly falling back into the clutches of 2nd place over the last 5 laps.

11 cars for a support division isnt bad. oh, wait, that's for THREE support divisions? hmm. at least i bet the two strictly stocks were legal, rear brake lights and such. and nobody claimed that kia for $2000. any time you can get a podium finish with a schwinn, there's a problem.

i don't know that wayne ran away with the race, but you start the guy on the pole, and that's what happens, and has for a long time. had he started sixth, with the one-grooveness i think it would have been pretty entertaining. looks like a pretty healthy series to me.

come be apart of the fast series before judging

yes wayne won but if you were there you would know he didnt lay down for dorer to catch up. dorer woked hard to get away from joe boyd then get past kirkpatrick so he would have a shot to get wayne he had his shot to beat on wayne but chose to try and pass him on the outside coming up maybe a foot short.

Orlando has 2 grooves. Thats where we won 6 out of 10 feature starts last year passing on the outside (in the modified class).

according to the lastest fascar rulebook change , they lowered the strictly stock claim rule to $ 1500 . and removed the five win rule .
