Not sure how I feel about this.
On one hand...yeah, it's great that it seems like these guys want to get back to a true "stock car", by being able to go to your local dealer and purchase high-performance parts over the counter. Carbureted <sp?> motors have been on the way out for years; in fact, when was the last time you could go to the dealer and buy a car with a carb on top of the motor? On the other hand, Hondas, Nissans, and Kias don't belong in a "Late Model" division, let alone a "Mini Stock" class...LOL....but that's the way things are headed in this country now.
My other feeling is...ASA in South Africa...?? I thought it was "AMERICAN Speed Association", not "African Speed Association".
They say they're trying to save teams money, then schedule a race on another continent...?
