NSS: Richie Evans Memorial Friday?

Will the Richie Evans race still be on for Friday night (provided it's not raining/track gets dried out, etc.), and just the Reunion is rescheduled for Saturday? Friends have made plans to come up for the Reunion on Friday, and not sure I can let them know in time other than calling them first thing in the morning tomorrow (Friday).

I can't make it to NSS on Saturday; have tickets to the Nationwide race and pit road for the 300 that day. Haven't been to Daytona since the truck race in 2000 (the first one where Bodine tore down the fence), and haven't been to the Busch race since about '93.

With the threat of Rain Showers forecasted to hit the New Smyrna Beach, Florida area on Friday February 12th, Officials have announced that in the event of a Rain Out, the 25th Annual Richie Evans Memorial 100 for the Tour-Type Modifieds would be run on Saturday February 13th along with the already scheduled Pete Orr Memorial 100 for the Super Late Models.

We will make every attempt to run the races Friday evening at the normal start time of 7:30pm, however we are aware of the rain threat.

The Modified Reunion originally scheduled for Friday has already been rescheduled for Saturday at 12pm in the Midway area of the Speedway.

The Crate Late Model 50 lap main event has also been re-scheduled to this evening to run in conjunction with the Super Late Model 50 and Ltd. Late Model 50.

We appreciate everyones understanding as we try to adjust to the Weather conditions and ensure that all the originally scheduled events take place in their entirety.
