Difference between Karnac and RealRacinusa?

OK, so after all the ballyhoo this afternoon, i set out to find the Results/Stories area that I had admittedly not been to - ever. I am not sure what the corporate structure/partnership is, but I thought the areas in question were part of RealRacin not Karnac. Which got me thinking - what is the difference - i really don't know. But from a branding perspective, the amalgamation of the two sites is confusing to the layman.

So, starting from the message board - it took me some effort to find the "karnac" links - which ultimately led me to the stories, etc. I clicked on the red Home button about five times, then the Latest News red button, etc. and scoured the RealRacin home page for 20 minutes trying to find the stories/results section. Then i skipped down the the black area with the Karnac links.

If the goal is to drive traffic to Karnac, you guys might want to rethink the links, etc. I was looking for it and since the previous posts were removed where Jane was explaining it - I literally couldn't find it when left up to my own intuition etc. Now, i may not have the intellect of the mighty OSF, but it could have been easier.

Not trying to piss anyone off, just giving you my honest feedback when trying to expand my internet racing news horizons.

BTW, Jane, the site does look better than the last time I was there under the older scheme.

This is at the top of the page of the message board. Just click on Front Page and you will get the front page of Florida Stock Car Racing. When you get there, at the left hand corner, you will see Home, Race Results and Pit Stop. Click on race results for the latest results and Pit Stop has the stories from different race teams, any story we are sent that is not a racing story. That is all you have to do to see the Front Page of Florida Stock Car Racing and then you can go to either Race Results or Pit Stop

As far as Real Racin USA goes, I have only written a few stories for them from interviews from the radio shows but nothing else. That one I don't take care of but I do post most of the stories for Southern Short Track.

But I hope that helps make it easier for you to find other things. As you can see, we still have our archives which I use alot, photo gallery, classifieds, etc in the top banner on the message board. Anyway, let me know if I helped you at all or not because I did truly try.

yes, thanks. i can see the light now about how to find karnac from the board. it seems though that jack has lost some of his "karnac brand" with the way the forum is hosted, wasn't sure if that was intentional or not, but until the discussion earlier, i would have said that realracin ate karnac - didnt know it was still its own entity..
