Didn't remember that Don Rivers ever ran Late Models but I'm pretty sure that was him, I used to race with him quite a bit in the Thundercars..... I'm pretty sure I drove the car that David Rogers had in this picture. It changed hands a couple times, Robert Ashton ended up with it and Joe Middleton, who I used to crew chief for bought it when he trashed his 4th design Howe and needed a car quick. This one was a 3rd design and it was legal as a Thundercar, after Joe got the 4th design back on the track he let me put my motor in it and I ran the speedweeks series with it in 82. Finished 2nd in the points out of over 100 cars, best car I ever drove but Joe sold it out from under me........
