We started the new double file restarts and it had mixed reviews. Some of the racers think it good others didn't like it. I believe that when they figure out that give and take is how to drive it. It will be fine. The Fans loved it. The end result was that there was only one yellow brought out by the double file restarts. We are looking at the PASS way of starts and restarts. This is where the Flagman controls the start of the race rather than the pole sitter or P1 on the restarts.
Thanks to those Teams that did make it I know the weather was an issue.

Get ready for the 2010 Season. The 10 DAY WINTER FESTIVAL starts TODAY!!!! Check out our web site www.raceccmp.com . Don't for get the Swap Meet and Flea Market. The Mid Way is awesome. The DAARA ,and the Cars from Yesterday are ready to hit the track, The Bull Riders are signing up, we are getting a lot of calls about the RED NECK Olympics and are ready to crush the place, those Wrestlers are ready to put on a SHOW, all those Moose riders are heading this way, and the Open Wheel Divisions are set for their 4 days of racing. So grab the Kids or let it bring the KID out of you.
    Thanks

I'm don't know anything about PASS but I do agree with letting the Flagman control the starts. When the green waves the race has started. If you take off before the green waves, you get one warning and the next time you go to the rear. Also, passing is allowed as soon as the green comes out. Some tracks don't allow passing until you get to the flag man. That penalizes people that are caught behind someone that can't get going for some reason. I'm not criticizing you Bobby, cause I don't know how you do it at CCMP.
WTG on the double file restarts.

I got the PASS Series info.

Good morning Winger. The PASS Series web site is http://www.proallstarsseries.com/ and they are one of the Series that travel around the East Coast of the US. I think they are coming to New Smynra soon.
        Thanks
        Bobby

Nor, Wind, Rain, Sleat or FOG?????

We have seen just about everything Mother Nature can give us. With 14 rain outs or rain affected races, a Chilly night that saw what some from Michigan would called snow flakes, to now FOG. Yes, FOG???? The DAARA got in the races but at the end it look like something from a old Bogart movie. At 9:00 you couldn't even see the Fairest Wheel. But, today is another day. I wonder if anyone has see Locus around???? We have to just keep going!!!!
          I keep up posted!!!
          Thanks

They sure are Bobby... PASS is coming to NSS next Saturday, along with the Super Stocks and Strictly Stocks, the 30th I believe... It is going to be one heck of a great race...

Hope to see you all up there...

Glad to see you had a great race Bobby...
