after watchin the tv hillbilly redneck trailer park racing show with 400 comericals one of suppose to be super stars burt myres thought he was driving a bull dozier beating back bumper off of mr i am the best # 83 tim brown


never once did i see burt myres try to pass him but i did here were they had 15 000 to 18000 people in stands ever week

that show just makes me appericate the open wheel drivers we have in central florida aera i don't think burt myres could race in our class over one time


some body would give him a face lift

Rumor on one of the northern message boards is that both Brown and Myers are coming for the 44th Annual World Series at New Smyrna Speedway... I will say that as of today we have not received a Pre-Entry for either of them, but if we do... I will be sure to post it!

however, only thing it cost you to watch it is your cable payment. How does anyone think it is going to be on tv. This "show" is just about too stupid for words. But here's a few:


The Magnificent Myers Brothers.
Double stacker haulers and 10,000 sq ft garages, living in the Bible belt of short track racing, two or three spare cars in the aforementioned shop with who knows how many spare rear ends laying around.....and they expect us to believe it takes 5 days to get a Tru Trac half hub.

Tim Brown. Wow.
Is this guy in love with himself or what? Gonna whip his crew's ass if they scratched the hood up? Throwin' a tantrum because his decals weren't exactly like he wanted? Maybe these are things he picked up from Waltrip Racing. I don't know. If the producers and directors are the ones putting him up to acting like a spoiled dick, I think I'd renogotiate for a better role on the show. And for all that "I'll beat yer ass" talk, he sure wussied out when he confronted Myers about his back bumper.

Chris Fleming. The Showstopper. Builds it all himself. Made sure he told the camera that about 40 times. Last week he said he was the fastest guy on the track. This week he needs new 1500 dollar shocks. Decides to starve the family (right) and get the 500 dollar cut rate rebuilt deal.....then promptly blames his poor finish on the junk shocks. Thank you dear Lord for these POS shocks....pass the cornbread Winona.

Junior Miller.....do you think he actually scheduled a physical the same week he happened to have brain fade while scuffing tires? Will he go for a complete psychiatric evaluation when he and the Myers' have their eventual confrontation to prove he isn't imbalanced and a threat to society?

Oh well.....at least they make every effort to interview an equal cross section of the good folks of Winston-Salem. No sense talking to someone whose wardrobe doesn't consist of twenty t-shirts emblazoned with their favorite driver's picture combined with some great oratory that has to be beeped out about the guy that they have been bred through generations to hate.

Thanks NASCAR for allowing reality TV to come in and take racing to a whole new level........a distinctly LOWER level but hey.....change is always good, right?

Bugs Stevens and a lot of the old school guys that Jerry knows and gets to attend the reunion raced up North mostly. And by his own observations in his book and from a lot of the history I have read about Northern (or even NASCAR) Modifieds over the last 40 years.....I just can't see any of the guys from the old era being that impressed with "Madhouse".

But I could be wrong.
