Not to worry.... If I (OSF) could figure it out, any block of wood should have been able to as well (except Ocala... poor boy is a bit slow but doing better each year thanks to his wife working so close with him).

Okay guys, I just posted the release and sent it out for practice this Saturday, January 16th, at Volusia Speedway Park from 6 to 9 pm. Pit gate opens at 5 pm, cost is $15.00 per person. Does that help????

                  VSP MEDIA

Barberville, FL (January 14, 2010) It is a new year and time to start thinking about that old racecar again. Volusia Speedway Park will hold open practice this Saturday, Janaury 16th, from 6 to 9 pm for everyone to shake the mothballs out and get ready for the Winter Nationals.

"It seems like forever since we were last at the track," said General Manager Tonya Moschell. "But I know it has not been that long but there are alot of guys out there that do need to start shaking out the mothballs and Saturday is a perfect time to do that."

"Volusia is getting ready for their 39th DIRTcar Nationals and to help the guys, we will have open practice this Saturday and then we will have open practice next Friday, Janaury 22nd followed by two days of racing. We call it our January Jump Start."

The January Jump Start will include Sportsman, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Thunder Stocks, 4 Cylinder Challengers and Mini Stocks. Friday, January 22nd, will be open practice for all classes.

This Saturday, January 16th, the pit gate will open at 5 pm with practice from 6 to 9 pm. Pit admission is $15.00. Grandstands are free.

Come on out this Saturday and shake out the mothballs as Volusia prepares for the January Jump Start.

Volusia Speedway Park is located 6 miles east of Barberville and 15 miles west of Ormond Beach on SR 40. For more information on Volusia Speedway Park go to www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com or call 386-985-4402.
