Citrus County Speedway Cancelled This Weekend

Due to forecasted frigid weather (in the 20's!) for Saturday, January 9th, the Winter Spectacular II has been cancelled. The fair association has the last two weekends in January spoken for.
Citrus County Speedway's next race will be the season opener on February 6, when the Mini Stocks and Pure Stocks will each run a 50 lapper andTBARA opens their season as do the Street Stocks and Mini Cups. Hope to see you then!!!

Saturday forecast has been detiorating as the week goes on. expected high for Sunday is only 45* now. at the beginning of the week, that was Saturdays forecast. Saturday is down to 37* and cloudy now.

If you want a Sunday race come to CCMP 1/17/10 we have a 150 lap LM race and the car count looks to be good. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer. Bob..

Citrus has a curfew on Saturday nights, as we all know. That may not allow racing and all the noise on Sunday....Don't know,just saying.

Yes. We have snow flakes and sleet here on Merritt Island. Of couse nothing stuck but saw them with my own eyes.

YEP and Jane ain't BS'ing us either... just saw the news...Snow on Merritt Island.... snow ball fight downtown @ 11pm - bring mittens and hot choclate.

Well, the first part is true... snow flakes (guess that's along with regular flakes) seen on Merritt Island.... stay warm Jane and tell Alex to keep that cast DRY.
