  • New Year's Racing Resolutions for 2010

So what are your New Year's resolutions for the upcoming year in racing?

Obviously meeting as many KARNACians as possible is a given, but I think this year I'm planning to:
    1. Run the Daytona 5k around the big track in January
    2. Get back to Citrus County for a race as soon as possible
    3. Get to CCMP next year for a race
    4. Go to see my first dirt-track race with Frasson118 on hand to talk me through it all
    5. Shake the hand of Jim Fenton at the Modified Reunion and/or the Blast From The Past
    6. Get out and on-track at OSW and NSS in a race car of some kind for at least a practice session
    7. Beat Flraceguy in as many races as possible at Little 500 night

What are your racing resolutions for the New Year?

Mine are nothing like that. I resolve to make www.floridadirttracknews.com the number one site for Florida dirt track racing. I resolve to introduce drivers, staff and officials to the racing community. I resolve to help keep karnac the number one site for racing news and that karnac.com and floridadirttracknews.com will work hand to hand to better Florida short track racing. I resolve to do the best I can do to help promote Florida racing and to always be there for my racing family.

Like I said, mine are nothing like your's. But I hope your's come true Andy and that everyone has a Happy New Year.

I resolve to beat M_Seay 10 in his only race!

Actually I do have three resolutions:
Arrive earlier at the track and experiment more in practice.
Refine set-ups, instead of settling for "pretty good".
Try at least 2 new tracks. (I got to 4 new ones in 2009)

I was just over at floridadirttracknews and there were a bunch of fireworks going off. I'll be damned if there wasn't a pit bull or some sort of dog chasing them.

I resolve to be the best at what I do and try to get healthy again.

Winger - thank you so much for all your help in 2009. And yea, I got the dumbest pit bull in the world. Last night we finally had to tie her to a tree outside because she was about to break down my front door trying to get to the fireworks. Crazy dog wants to eat them and she had one go off in her mouth a few years ago and still wants to eat them.

But sincerely, thank you for all your help and with your help and others, we will make floridadirttracknews the place to go for all your dirt track info and updates.

And I certainly understand the health thing since my blood pressure was sky high not long ago and they were ready to put me in the hospital right there and then. Taking my blood pressure pills everyday and trying my best to let go of the stress and let God handle it all for me. So good luck sweetie on the health, I hope it all comes out good for you.
