Little 500 Night - Friday, 1-22-2010

Weather forecast still looking good for this on Friday night. Lots of confirmed entries at the FASCAR banquet on Saturday night, all asking the same questions - 'Is Duane going to the be racing?'

Keep in mind, Little 500 is a "Rain or Shine" facility. If there's lightning, they will park the Karts, but if it is merely raining, the show will go on.

And let me tell you, that track in the wet, is a BASTARD to get around, but even more fun than it is in the dry. Guaranteed though, you WILL ruin the clothes you are wearing!

On a side note, it looks like I'll be checking into the hospital for a few days, but should be out in time for Friday. If not, you all KNOW I'll be there in spirit. Haven't missed one of these yet, and health providing, won't miss this one either.

Just trying to avoid the lame stories, like "Too afraid of the competition", or any other such garbage. Even racing here twice a year puts me almost equal to Ed, and 2 ahead of Duane!

It's just turn up and run, and if members of the public are around then they'll just get caught up in it. I suspect running their 12 or 13 laps is more than enough for one session as it gets pretty bumpy out there, and it'll give everyone the chance to race more people. Even with just 8 karts out there it gets a bit crowded, especially when someone spins.

And Andy no matter how many secret testings you go too... It won't matter... Cause they will always throw the goop on your face and glasses just to spin you out a little faster than normal...

And we are all hoping that Frass and Rog make it cause none of the rest of us have coolers big enough... LOL..

I will try... As of late, that is a synonymous thing with me... Although things are better, bills don't like to wait for anyone or anything... But I have put away enough to go play for a little while Friday...
