I had a visit from an old friend yesterday. Mike MacDougall moved out of state in 1996, but is now in the process of moving back to north Brevard.
We met at Speedworld where Mike was very successful in the old 4 cylinder Bomber class. He made a close run at the championship in 1995 at Volusia and ended up second. Since then, he has been racing primarily on dirt and paved tracks in NC.
So we are fortunate to have an experienced racer, and a damn nice guy, coming back. He can't wait for the new season to start and plans on running in 2010. What class? Well, that will work itself out.
