LOS ANGELES, CA (December 11, 2009) - Milka Duno will make her stock car debut during the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards open test at Daytona International Speedway December 18, 19 and 20, 2009. Duno will participate in the test behind the wheel of Braun Racing's No. 90 Toyota.

While no stranger to the Daytona Beach, FL-based track, this will be Duno's first opportunity to go around the 2.5-mile tri-oval in a metal-skinned stock car. Her No. 90 Camry will have less downforce than either the IndyCar Series cars she's driven the past three seasons, or the Rolex Series Daytona Prototypes that she competed in for the three seasons before that.

"This will be a new challenge for me and one that I've been looking forward to," said Duno. "I know it won't be easy - it will be hard work - but work that I'm ready to take on."

Brandon Thomson will also be there testing in an Andy Hillenburg-owned car... This kid has the talent to easily take it to the next level but after Daytona will not have the money to run any more races... Hopefully he can turn a few heads... It's been sad to see some of our young local talent like Patrick Conrad and Kory Abbott unable to compete much recently due to lack of the $$$ to do it...

Milka is stunningly beautiful, and downright adorable. At Indy this year, at her introduction to the 500, overheard dozons of men screaming to her, "will you marry me?" She took it in stride, with that million dollar smile that she has.
What's her story, as to why she is racing, or how she arrived at racing?

Here is her story in a nutshell......

We were an item a few years ago but my work commitments (and not in the least, my wife and family) caused me to have to break it off. She was heartbroken and, like so many of my previous dalliances (Danica, Erin, Janet Guthrie.....wait for it...wait for it....), she decided to take up racing as a way to get back at me.

Well, to make a long story short, she's really not very talented but definitely knows she's a hottie so she is just looking for the maximum amount of exposure she can get before she sells the risque video we filmed of the two of us....along with three other girls from the Miller Lite Volleyball team in a hotel in East Sebastian a few years ago.

Well, whether we like it or not, this years ARCA race will get more media attention, by far, than any other ARCA race in history. And, I'm guessing that the attendance might be better than recent years also.

Regardless of why, Danica and Milka have made an irrelevant race relevant. Good for ARCA.

But Milka.... in a Braun car? She is going to be a weapon. She'll never see the checkered flag.
