John is in the hospital right now waiting for quadruple bypass sugery. His family is by his side. John and I have been friends for a long time and I wish him a quick and speedy recovery.
I will add John and his family to my prayers. Please let us know Rick how the surgery goes. I have known quite a few people who have had to have this surgery and everyone has come out fine and much better. I wish the same for John. Just do what the doctors tell you and don't be stubborn.
Ok the latest, today John was moved from Lakewood Ranch, to Manatee Hospital, on Sunday he is supposed to meet with his surgeon to sched the procedure, tonight Fabienne and I went to CCMP to see a co worker race, and I was overwhealmed by the concern for John, the Track Chaplain Richard Stone asked for all to join him in prayer for John and his family in their time of turmoil, that God keep his hand on John through his surgery. I cannot name all the people that asked about him and expressed their concern so forgive me if I miss you, Marcie, Donna, Bob Culbertson, Gary Mcfall, The Brothers, the Bryson Brothers, the Vigilos, the Barrs, Lil Zac, Gary LaPlante, Derrick Horton, Gregg Krom, Brett England, too many to mention. We will try to keep you updated, and if you see that there is no updates, that there is no new news, thank you all Dave and Fabienne.
Please keep this outpouring of faith, I myself trust that all will go without flaw, but the racing family is strong in faith and your prayers are appreciated, and thanked.

Just heard from Camille and John is ok, he is in the recovery room, and they can see him in an hour, the doctors team said that John told them if they did a good job they were all invited to the races as his guests!
I dont plan on hearing anything before morning, but want to share with you all the calmness in Camilles voice as she told me the good news, although John is not through this journey yet, I strongly believe in prayer and want to thank you from Camille and her family for your support, thanks again Dave

I am Glad every thing worked out well for John, Camille, Johnny and Jacky. Now comes the battle to do what the Doctor says, IE; eat good, exercise, and so on. I will continue to pray for them. Merry Christmas and happy new Year. Bob..
Glad John made it thru surgery with flying colors. But now comes the hard part of changing your lifestyle and doing what the doctors tell you to do. If you do what they say and change, you will be around for a long, long time to come. If you don't, well, all the surgery in the world won't get you better. So John, listen to your doctors and you'll be up and around better than ever soon. I know my friend Danny said he felt 100% better after his surgery and he changed his life, took out the stress, and looked alot better. He even sold his business to reduce the stress and last time I saw him, he looked very good, very happy, and working for someone else and letting them take all the stress. But he is still here today and he did listen to his doctors so please you do the same.
i'm glad john is doing great after surgery good luck
