Races at the PRI Show....

Last night after the PRI Show, they held a Kart race on a temporary track. Wasn't sure what to expect, but hey it was free.

What a cooooool surprise it turned out to be. Free parking, free admission, free beer and food, and more cute women than you could shake a stick at.

I normally wouldn't count this as a "new track" for my list, but how can I NOT include a track that featured drivers that have won at Daytona and Indianapolis, and raced at LeMans & Monaco?

I won't be missing next years event either!

I watched some of them practice Thursday afternoon as I was leaving the show. They get around there pretty good. The track has bumps and some slick parts from the painted lines and the dampness from the rains didn't help. They were sideways most of the way around but I didn't see any incidents while I watched.

dave, bubba practiced in the karts but didn't race, smith had a solid top-10 finish.
