The kids:
Best in show was Chase Elliott, ran a clean smart race. Car was consistent. You will hear much more about him - eventually not just because of his dad.
Kenseth couldnt seem to keep his car under him from the start. Battled to try to stay on lead lap all day - struggled. Seems to love having the car sideways - should look into a dirt late model.
Johanna - well, not too much to say - underwhelmed. Bush took the lead cleanly in turn one lap one and she started to sink.
Not-so-kidlike anymore:
Great runs for Wayne Neidecken Jr and Bobby Gill. Gill was fast and smart all day.
Smartest move of the day was when Bush let Augie pass when they approached lapped traffic. The thinking i assume was "Hey augie clear me a path" - which was pure genius as Augie got front end damage soon thereafter.
Credit goes to Kyle - though he reaaalllly had an edge in the pits - other guys are gonna have to step up if they want to compete for this thing.
