Hendry County Motorsports Park Cancells Dec 5th Events

The racing action scheduled for Saturday, December 5th has been canceled due to impending inclement weather.


The long range forecasts for the Sunshine State are not good for the 12th of December either, and therefore there will NOT be a make-up race.


We appreciate the awesome support from racers and fans all across the state in 2009 and we look forward to providing some great shows and more improvements to Hendry County Motorsports Park in 2010.

WOW, canceling a show 9 days before for rain..........IN FLORIDA?......Sounds more like Scared money to me.
I've been involved in the sport for along time, all in this state. 35 plus years and counting but I have to admit, this is a first. Using there logic, I'm surprised that they got to race this year let alone even opened up. LMFAO

You guys are right but the make-up date for tonight's show would've been next Saturday. They canceled that one also because of rain. I was referring to next weeks show, not tonight's.

Seeing the show canceled this early seems to be just a bit premature... I truly hate to see that happen especially since most of us are jonesing for a race at this time of the year...

I think it was a good call. The coming events sticky was posted on Nov. 29th on Janes Corner and they were supposed to be closed.

But then again, I saw two fliers at the local gas station on Wednesday (12/03) . It made me wonder why they were trying to throw a show together in less than three days.
