    Congrat to the whole TEAM!!!!!

I have never seen a LM race that had so many cars after long runs having (and turning laps at qualifing speeds) 11 cars on the front stretch!!!! First 12 cars all within a 2 tenths. I believe 16 or 17 on the lead lap and 20 cars at the end. WOW!!!!! Great job goes out to all the DRIVERS in the Field of Dreams!!!! The last round is looking to be the BEST one of the year!!!! Dec. 19th.
Thanks to all who made it.

The polesitter leads all 100 laps, and it's considered a great race?

He was challenged several times Jerry and there was 21 other racers behind him that helped put on a good show. I realize winning from the pole is a little easier but with the likes of Winchel, Gill. Hanson, Boyd, Morris, Johnson, and Lovelady its not easy to hold that lead for 100 laps. There was a lot of shuffleing in the field. I agree its good to see the winner come from the back and win, but it can be a good race if the the winner wins from the pole. At least for me. Bob...

I can tell you weren't there.

HELL of SHOW. The leader never got away. There were passing on almost every lap. A couple of driver passing back and forth lap after lap...... Bumping and grinding. Team Mates fighting it out like there were NO TEAM ORDERS. Dang Jerry. You may not like him but dang man Steve did a masterfull job of holding off the BEST of the BEST. Bob maybe he needs to buy a video. And than give his view. And it was just my opition.

I have absolutely NOTHING against Steve Dorer... not sure where you got that from.

Bob, I do get your point. I have seen some races won from the pole that were pretty exciting... but most of them are just high-speed parades, and not very impressive. Give me a winner who starts outside of the top 10 or 15, and I will be extremely impressed!

Yes I didn't think you had anything against Steve. A lot of LM races are just what you said a gloified parade. Charlotte has come alive this year. In years past it was mostly a parade but cars are passing inside and outside, 3 wide at times. Sometimes I want to lay my camera down and watch. As Bobby said there was passing on almost every lap. Dorr didn't check out by no means but Winchel didn't have anything for him. On every restart steve pulled a couple car links ahead and kinda stayed there. Bobby put down some sticky stuff earlier in the year and I guess its still sticking. The racing has been so much better since. Bob...
