  • Interesting Little Statement...

I was watching something last night and this little Statement came up.. I thought it was an interesting thought and wanted to see what everyone else thought...

"Focusing your life solely on making a Buck, shows a certain poverty of ambition! It asks too little of yourself.

Because it is only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential!"

Not sure of where it came from, but it is a strikingly true statement.

have a great day one and all! I hope that no matter where you are and what you are doing, something good happens to everyone...

Thats a thought provoking statement Duane, but so true. I spent a lot of years chasing the almighty buck. I had to get old and broke to realize how important the small things are and importance of hitching my wagon to something bigger, God. Happy thanksgiving. Bob...

I believe it means something quite different to each person.....

To it's author, Barack Obama...It's become clear its meaning is different than mine.

      Happy Thanksgiving......

I was unaware of whom the author is... I will have to agree that what it means to myself is probably different than the authors....

You guys are so funny. Would you believe Ronald Reagan said it and it has the same meaning as you have? Now if I wasn't on a public forum, I could really have fun with this and make it really mean something----ahhh --x rated.

Seriously though, how can you be so cruel and insensitive? Just because of who you think the author is. lol

              Winger...

You should not try to misconstrue what I meant by my statement... As I originally said, I was unsure of who said it, frankly I don't know... I only know one thing... It is a profound statement that many people should take to heart... Especially in the very difficult times that have befallen many of us these days...

Now please don't try to "rodeo" this into a political jerk-off... As frankly I don't want to see that... Now let's get back into the thought and the meaning of the statement... Because it is a very profound and direct statement of which so many of us need to heed....
