Remember how cold it was at the Governor's Cup last year? The only thing that kept me thawed out was working on the Edmobile.

Racing tonight, flea market and Frassapooloza BBQ tomorrow, then the 200. Its gonna be a great weekend.

Looking forward to this weekend a lot! Got the afternoon off work so I'll be up there in good time this afternoon, then really looking forward to the BBQ and a look around the flea market tomorrow. And if it gets too cold tomorrow I'm reserving a space in the warmth of the control tower...

Time to enforce the Alternative beverage rule on new members... All new members of the enterouge are required to supply the ole' timers alternative beverages for at least the first year for initiation to the Karnacian Club...

Andy, don't worry. The coldest part of the year is already past. By the time speedweeks rolls around it is much warmer. In fact, some nights you will find yourself sitting in the stands at Volusia or New Smyrna: it will be after midnight and 6 hours into the racing show. There may be 3 races to go and may find that you need a light jacket....finally!

Phew - good thing I caught this before I headed out. I was stupidly about to load two sweaters, a jacket and a fleece into the car for tonight but now I know I can just put a t-shirt on and I'll be fine!

Oh, and Duane, I'll bring some alternative beverages tomorrow for sure. What do you want me to bring - a bottle of Pimms, a bottle of Baileys or a 4 pack of Bacardi Breezers???

dont forget about the nights during speedweeks when you go out to the parkinglot after the races and there is frost on the windshield of your car.
