      Rules

DRIVERS please remember to bring your track rule book but please note that all cars MUST FOLLOW C.C.M.P. WEIGHT AND LEFT SIDE RULES. You can find this rule on the CCMP web site under RACE NEWS -> STOCK CAR RULES. If there are any questions do not hesitate contacting me @ (941) 809-3498.

I am trying to plan the long haul so as much info up front that I can get the better off we will be. I see there is a 50# weight break for crates, is there any other rules involving crate motors that I need to know about?

The rules also state Good year slicks on the website, just to be clear, we are running 8" treaded?

Thank you, I hope we can make it.

The crate rules are detailed pretty well in the rules.... keep an eye on this thread though.... I will post any updates as they become available. The crates are really competitive at this track. I will consult with tech to see if they feel there are any updates to the rules that you would benefit from!

The Goodyear slicks were the tires CCMP originally started with this year, they have since moved over to 8" treaded American Racers. ONLY 8" treaded tires are allowed for this race.... the only stickers allowed are tires purchased from CCMP.

Thanks for the interest... we would love to have you... give me a call to reserve when you find out if you can make it.

If Edm's #44 - pictured below in the pits at NSS after his race on Friday night - does make this race then I might have to make a road-trip down there to watch him and his team. That'll tick another track off the list for me, and as it looks like it'll be a busy summer next year it'll be good to sneak another track in while I still have some free time!

Thats pretty funny Andy. I am gonna throw some paint on it for the CCMP race though.

Sillyone, can you post the schedule as far in advance as possible? Its a pretty good haul for us and we are gonna need to get some practice in after the (once again) recent repairs.

Just to make the tire program clear!!!!

                    The earlier post said:
"ANY 8" TREAD TIRE ALLOWED - Only STICKER tires allowed are CCMP issued American Racers".

This means that if you are going have sticker tires they must be from the CCMP tire trailer. You are welcome to bring used tires.Bobby Diehl
