I hope the people that actually went last week to watch him race enjoyed his finish = "LAST" according to the write up.

I'm not too sure if he's a crowd "Getter" (mostly around the Miami area...)

I hope the people that actually went last week to watch him race enjoyed his finish = "LAST" according to the write up.

I'd heard of him but his radio show really isn't anything I'd ever listen to - I'm a Mike and Mike guy on ESPN myself.

But anyway, he actually did OK for a lot of the race on Saturday, albeit it one of Anthony Sergi's trucks that are probably as good and as well set up as anything racing on that track in any given week. He ran at the back of the main lead group for most of the race, in 6th or 7th position, and was keeping up good pace. By the last 5 or 6 laps he was starting to get hunted down and as people were starting to press his, scrape his doors and generally test his ability to block he slowly moved back down the field, and was passed on the line by the #18 right at the end of the race. He did better than I thought he would, but it was obvious that he didn't want any part of hard racing in those last few laps. But then, I don't know if I'd want to rip someone else's truck up in a race either.

Bubba would NEVER get me to a race but the other great dirt drivers would. Jason Fitzgerald, Dillon Wood, Mark Whitener, Keith Nosbisch and Wayne Reuitmann would definitely pull me in but not Bubba. They could have left off his name and been just fine for me.
