I am sitting here watching the memorial at Ft. Hood and listening to the President speak to all the men and women of the Army. Tomorrow is Veteran's Day and we need to remember not only those who died at Ft. Hood senselessly but also the brave men and women who protect us everyday of our lives.
To my son-in-law Michael, his friend Joey, to all the soldiers from all the armed force units, I thank you. For those who have died in the past during World War I and World War II, Vietnam, Korea, all the wars, THANK YOU. You have protected us and kept us safe leaving behind your families, your loved ones and friends.
Thank you for everything you have done and will do. May God bless you and keep you.
And yes, this has nothing to do with racing but everything to do with us.
