  • All charges dropped....

it's not a huge surprise to any of us at CCMP, but all the charges concerning the "buried tire" issue have been dropped. Now that Bobby has this monkey off his back he is ready to forage on and i think everyone will be pleased with his plans for the future of our track. Thank you to all who believed in Bobby....

Great weather and full parking lots, you bet!
I would actually word it "full grandstands and pits", though.
But a full parking lot?-- of what, old used tires?

That's just wrong wishing there, Boneman.

      Just kidding, bud.

But it really does seem that CCMP has it all OK now, and that's good news to hear, no matter where you are.

Best of luck, as I will make the trip down to check out the Dirt Series Cars on the asphalt Raceway, as I did once with the same cars at Ocala a few years back--put on a heck of a show.

The charges were completely dropped by the State Attonery's Office. They called and said that we need not even show up at the Court House. Now, we can get back to doing what we need to do. Which is to get this Race Track back on track of becoming the BEST DARN SHORT TRACK in the Country!!!
Thanks for all of the people that believed in the way we do business and supported us.
        THANKS Bobby Diehl
Glad to hear it and am looking forward to catching more races at CCMP in '08!!!!

That's good news. It sounded like they are trumped up to begin with.

Carol, That's good news but just let Bobby know that he may need a permit to "forage" and those "plans for the future of our track" will definitely have to go to the building department. LMAO

P.S. Dustin called me from Moroso last night and said that Helio was there running his shifter kart and he also took his Lambo out on the scca track for a few laps. I was going to call you but all I could picture is a mini van doing 120 mph on hwy 70. Not a pretty site.
