Local Nascar Testing

For any Paul Menard fans out there, or anybody who wants to catch a glimpse of a Nationwide series car making some pretty quick laps at Walt Disney Speedway:

Menard's #98 Nationwide team will be testing at the Mickyard tomorrow (Tuesday) from ~8:30 am til 6:00pm? Autograph opportunity and maybe a chance to ride with Paul around the 1 mile track.

Already turned some fast laps today shaking down a couple cars for tomorrow.

Joking aside, I wonder why they chose the Mickyard to test. I didn't think it really resembled any NA$CAR tracks.

Maybe they offered him discount tickets to Mickyland.
But only after he sat through a 4 hour high pressure sales pitch for a vacation condo.........in Their-ami(no longer My-ami)

Rich guy jokes aside, he was really cool, polite and even helped us play a joke on a buddy.

Apparently, Turn 1 at a certain track in Arizona is very similar to 1 at Disney. Not sure how close, but Paul was faster right of the truck than another driver who tested a few months ago. Anybody that fast at Disney has some kind of talent behind the wheel, let's see how he does at Phoenix...
