  • Not Dead!

Contrary to the rumor mill, I AM STILL ALIVE and IN RACING!! Racing is my passion not just a job. You can not quit a passion, but you can quit a job so...In 2008 I will be able to spend more time on the Premium Side of FASCAR TOURING and not have any responsibility for the weekly racing.

Also, Ace Services will still be the Tire Dealer for all the FASCAR Tracks and Tours.

It is great to finally be able to work and have time to do what I love and leave the day to day grind to someone else. The TEAM FASCAR special events will get the time and effort they deserve with the smaller weekly racing responsiblity conveyed to others.

I am sure we with the help of all the serious competitors on the tours will continue to make the Special Events by FASCAR the Place To Be!

I would like to thank all of my friends at the tracks for all their help through the years and will see you at the races when we come to your track. Any info you might need about Tires or Tour Races be sure to call me.

    See ya at the races,
    Don #62

Thanks for putting the rumors to rest...it makes it much easier for all of us working hard to make racing better. It's great news...especially for the tours. For all the crap we take in this business, it has to be your passion.

So many things happen behind the scenes to make racing better, most people never know about.

For example: the ABC Body has been said by many to be one of the best things to ever happen to late model racing (level playing field, same rules accross the county, etc).

Most people don't know that Don was one of the key people in the development of this program. And it didn't pay dime to do what he did...the time and travel that he invested in helping develop the ABC program came out of his own pocket, with not a dime coming back to him for it. It was good for racing and good for the racers.

I got a feeling there's a little fire in his belly, and racing in Florida is going to benefit from that fire and his passion!

            Goodyear/Hoosier

First it was not US testing Hoosiers. Both tracks and tours will be on Goodyear tires. If you need any further info, call Don at 386-547-5152. Thanks, Sandy
