I am so sorry that I cannot make the races tonight, I really, really wanted to come but I got foreclosure notice on my house today and am really in no shape to drive right now. We sent in two payments which were returned to us and now I have to come up with the whole thing which I have no idea of how I am going to do that unless I get paid what I am owed. Anyway, I am sorry that I can't come but I will make it for one race before the end of the year.

This economy SUCKS big time... everyone is hurting one way or another... many have had to make changes in what they do and when they can do it.
You are in a worse situation with your mortgage company than most of us (at this time anyway).
You have tried paying what you could and they refused and want the total of back payments at once.
I would offer this as a solution (something I sure as hell would do before I got put on the street).
You are owned money and people that owe it to you could most likely give a rats a$$ if you end up under a bridge somewhere...... SO here is what I would do...
I would notify each person that owes me and give them 48 hours to contact me with some agreed upon plan to get me the money owed... if no contact is made within the 48 hours - I would publish their names, amount owed, reason money is owed and last but not least - how long since last attempt at paying said money. They don't care about you, so why should you care about them if they aren't mature enough to take care of business.
PUT THEIR BUSINESS ON THE STREET BEFORE YOU GET PUT ON THE STREET.
I am sure when you publish the list of these people.. they won't want to be seen at any track (even when they work or drive at one, and in some cases more than one track).Thank a Police Officer for what they do........... OSF:

Thanks old friend for the suggestion. I will definitely do the 48 hour notice thing but right now I am just so upset that to be hoenst, I am not thinking very straight. Yesterday I got told my blood pressure was 183 over 123 or something dumb like that and I could have a stroke or heart attack any minute so I am doing my best not to do that. Just right now if I had gotten paid like I was promised, none of this would be happening. But, you are right, no one gives a rat's ass if I am under a bridge or not. Something that has been very hard for me to understand.

Jane, I have worked in the foreclosure depts of a couple of banks, have you asked them directly on the phone for a forebearance plan? If not, do it right away, most lenders and banks are suppose to be trying to work out deals with their customers who have fallen on hard times. You might ask them for a loan modification as well. Im not sure of your situation, but dont sit back and wait or avoid the phone calls, pick up and ask them for these things. If you have and its gone to an attorney, call that attorney and ask them what can be done. I dont want to come off as a know it all and getting in your business, but I do know that these type of deals can be offered if you ask, they wont offer usually. Jane, whoever you speak with, write their name down and keep for safekeeping, many customers dont do that and things fall through the cracks and you dont have a name or dept to give a manager.
