If you have not been to a dirt race this year, this is the weekend you want to come. Friday night at Ocala, Saturday night at Volusia, some of the greatest dirt Late Model drivers around. You won't want to miss this one, going to be a great night both nights. And great weather too.

    Hope to see you there.

Some of the best racing I've seen tis year, has been in the last 2 weeks (Ocala & Golden Isles). Both featured full fields of DLM's, and I damn sure got my moneys worth of action. Either show should be good, as this class still is pulling in the cars, even as late in the season as it is. Hopefully, a good handful of East Bay cars will support this weekend. If so, look for cars counts near 40 at each.

I never thought about asking the teams at GIS if they planned on coming to FLA this weekend, but I'm sure at least 10-15 of those cars will make one show or the other.

Looking at the list you posted on the other (Golden Isle) thread, I would say that half of those cars routinely make the Ocala special shows. Add in the Ocala regulars, East Bay, NFS, and Volusia cars and it should be a good show Friday night. I'm sure Saturday's show will be good also. Wish I could make them both.

Me thinks it is about time for Jim to make an appearance at NSS.. Or are you going to make us all wait for the Governors Cup like last year... As long as you make it to a race this weekend, that is all that counts...

I would offer you a beer this weekend, but I know that that will have to wait until the Governors Cup weekend...

              Jim,

I am going to try my best to make it to Ocala Friday night for your race and then of course be at Volusia on Saturday for our race. I will look for you Friday night, where do you normally sit?? I know I have to go and meet B.J. and would love to also meet Winger since he is so nice about sending me photos from Ocala for my site and I would like to speak to Mike also. But let me know where to find you.

I always sit in front of the tower(a little right of center) about 3 rows down next to Cindy,BJ's wife, and her dad. I'll be wearing an Ocala Speedway shirt and hat. Yellow scanner earphones too.
Look forward to seeing you there.

We are coming to the Gov. Cup race on Friday and see Boner race and spend the night in the parking lot. Hope to be over next to the trees if the Villagers crowd are not there like last year. We had to park elsewhere because that area was reserved for the 'older than dirt' crowd.
Thanks for the beer offer, but I don't indulge in adult beverages anymore.
If you spike my prune juice, thats OK..........

I'm looking forward to this Sat. night. I've already got my armband. Suppose to go into the pits but we'll probably end up at the top of 1 & 2. It's more fun up there.

Wow!!! Way to go Dillon Wood -- excellent performance at Ocala Speedway last night! And they will all be at Volusia tonight -- will we see a repeat performance? Don't miss this one -- Dillon will be shooting for the double!
