  • Friday Night's Stats on Racing

These stats were based on race results. There may have been more cars but they did not show in the results.

Five Flags Speedway - 75 Cars in 4 Divisions

Orlando SpeedWorld - 70 Cars in 9 Divisions

Ocala Speedway - 89 Cars in 4 Divisions

Volusia Speedway Park - 21 Cars in 2 Divisions

Now, which track did the best based on number of cars and divisions? Let's see who can remember their division tables!!!! - Is that better Mr. Todd????

Hey, I posted the enduro rules just for you and dad. Wish you would come. It is afterall, right up your alley and you both do great in enduros. Come on, get a dirt car PLEASE.

Jane, I still have the heat race lineups from Ocala last night, so I could sit down and do an actual count of how many cars registered at the pit gate or started a race (We had several DNS's in the features, and I believe at least one in a heat). I think the total car count ended up being 102 in four divisions.

unless you're going to rebalance all of the tracks to "pit entries" instead of "finishing position" all you will do is unbalance the comparison in Ocala's favor. do you really want to hurt everybody else's feelings that bad?

also, there's a certain logic to only counting race starters. that's all the cars that the fans know about.

i don't have 6" rims on my car. plus, the windshield is cracked so i can't take it out without destroying it.

Ron would probably go, but the only other car we have ready is the Electra ( which is set up for dirt by the way ) ... no v8's allowed.

I'm really happy that Ocala had good numbers. They were better than Orlando's, but OSW put on a good show. I didn't see all the races, but what I saw was very competitive and interesting.

Hopefully this will be a trend and everybody will pick up some business!
