  • Racer's Swap Meet at Volusia

There are quite a few people here selling parts and a few cars also for sale. There is a really nice Sportsman that has not been raced - new body and either a Thunder Stock or Street Stock for sale. Also there are a couple of rolling chasises plus alot of parts. If you are looking for something for dirt racing, come on out. Just saw one man walk away with his new seat and harness.

Swap Meet goes until 2 pm but if you are in need of wheels, heads, etc., they seem to have everything here.

That is Volusia Speedway Park in the main grandstand parking areas under the trees.

It was yesterday from 11 to 2 at Voluisa Speedway Park. It was part of DIRToberFAST and was advertised for the last couple of weeks. It ended up very nice and quite a few cars for sale plus lots and lots of parts, wheels, etc. Sorry you missed it.

        It's my last one!

Fair turnout just mainly people wasting my time. It sux when you have a race seat for $75 and some bozo offers $25. If you buy the exact seat new it's $200... Had a set of heads that are well worth $1,000 and guys are $hittin on themselves when you tell them $500. Decked out 9" chunk with lt. gears and spool, and some Asshole wants to offer me $150. What a bunch of broke ass #$@%s! I'll throw my stuff in the woods before I give it away.Met a few cool people though and bought a transmission from another vendor..saved about $50 and he was happy too! I'm never hauling anything to another swapmeet...but I will go if I need to buy something. Just sayin..

RSB - we all know times are hard and yes, people are going to try and get things as cheap as they can. I know I do that on craigslist and people can either say yes or no and I think it depends on entirely how badly you need the money. But as far as I could tell, there were quite a few people there with goodies and quite a few looking. But I guess a Racers Swap Meet is like a garage sale and either you sell your stuff or not but at least you give it a try and people will always try and get it cheaper than you want to sell it.
